After being out of production for a long time and our receipts of numerous inquiries and calls for it, McRae has reintroduced the Olive Drab and Black Jungle Boot as was used by American Armed Forces during the Vietnam era. We are making it in our North Carolina plant and using the same Panama sole vulcanizing presses/molds as we used in the late 1960s when the boot was a mil-spec item.
Additionally, McRae has partnered with the Vietnam Veterans of America (www.vva.org) and through the end of August, 2018 will be running a program jointly with the VVA whereby we will make a donation to them for every pair of these boots (McRae style 7189) sold. This is our way of creating a path for us and you to help those who fought so hard for our country during this period.
All you have to do is make a purchase of this boot from our website or any of our dealers carrying the boot from now until the end of August. Be sure to tell your family and friends too. We hope the program is a success and are proud to make an effort to help these veterans.
Thank you for taking time to read about the donation program with the VVA.
